KEY FEATURES

The concept masterplan includes:

RCP has been engaged to provide services to manage the upgrade to the Parkinson Oval clubrooms, at Kensington Wama / Kensington Gardens Reserve, home to Kensington Cricket Club and Burnside Rugby Club.

The project comprises the development of a new multi-purpose sports facility to replace the existing building that has been in use for the last 50 years.

The new, two-storey clubrooms will feature an increased number of fully accessible changerooms, including one dedicated to umpires, along with a medical room and storerooms. The club will also feature a gym and a versatile function space with a bar and canteen that may also be used for community functions.

The upgrade will provide modern facilities suitable for male and female, and junior participation in cricket and rugby.\

The new clubrooms are a joint initiative between Burnside Rugby Club and Kensington District Cricket Club and the City of Burnside.

Construction is due commence in February 2026 with completion targeting February 2027.
