RCP provided Project Management Services for the fit-out of Grant Thornton’s new Brisbane Head Office premises in the King George Central development at 145 Ann Street. The project involved fit-out of the Levels 16 to 19 and the construction works were staged with a portion undertaken by the base building Contractor under the direction of the Developer, with the remainder undertaken by a Fit-out contractor engaged directly to Grant Thornton. RCP’s services included establishment of the project brief, selection of design consultants, design management, approvals management, procurement advice, tender management, contract administration including project reporting and defect rectification management.
The end result of the project provided Grant Thornton with open plan working floors which maximise both use of space and the available natural light in order to dramatically improve the current working conditions. In addition, Grant Thornton was provided with a dedicated floor for their client interface which provides training facilities equipped with the latest audio visual technology, as well as Boardroom and Meeting Rooms spaces.
