RCP (through its South Australian subsidiary) was appointed as project manager of the new integrated international, domestic and regional terminal building.
New Terminal Building was required to be designed and constructed within 24 months to meet strict funding and lease requirements. This was achieved through innovative procurement and construction methods including fasttrack methods overlapping design and construction.
The project was delivered within the total project budget, despite significant additional requirements, including glass aerobridges and travelators being added by the client to improve the amenity of the terminal.
The terminal project was an outstanding success for all stakeholders and has been recognised by numerous aviation and building industry awards.
