As 2025 comes to a close, I’m proud to reflect on a year that has showcased the capability, adaptability, and expertise of our team. It’s been a year of significant achievements, new opportunities, and continued commitment to delivering certainty for our clients.
Major Project Completions
This year, we celebrated the successful delivery of several landmark projects across Australia.
- Burnside Village Stage 6 in Adelaide reached practical completion, doubling the centre’s footprint and introducing premium retail and lifestyle spaces under its iconic LANIK glass roof.
- Norwest Quarter Stage 1 has set a benchmark in sustainable mixed-use development and community-focused design.
- In Brisbane, 360 Queen Street has seen its first tenants move in, reinforcing our reputation for managing complex CBD projects.
- Victoria Tower Adelaide was another standout, blending heritage integration with modern design to deliver a premium residential offering.
These projects reflect the diversity of our portfolio and the trust our clients place in RCP to manage their complex projects. They also signal we have capacity to take on large projects in 2026.
Our People: Growing and Thriving
Our success is driven by our people. In 2025, we welcomed talented new team members across our offices and celebrated internal growth, including the promotion of Christine Beeby to Associate. These milestones reflect our focus on nurturing leadership and building capability for the future.
Continuing Projects and New Wins
Our teams have achieved great outcomes on continuing projects while securing exciting new opportunities. Highlights include:
- RNA Main Arena Upgrades in Brisbane, a critical piece of infrastructure as the city prepares for the 2032 Olympics.
- Lot 14 Innovation Centre in Adelaide, supporting South Australia’s vision for a global innovation hub.
- Expansion of our education and performing arts niche, with the opening of Foundry Theatre and ongoing work on St Margaret’s Performing Arts Centre and John Paul College Performing Arts Centre.
- Projects with purpose: we are proud to support initiatives for at-risk women through Next Gen Catherine House (escaping DV) and Tucker Street Apartments (at risk of homelessness), delivering safe, inclusive spaces that make a real difference.
We were honoured this year to receive an AIB High Commendation for the GPO Marriott Adelaide, a project that exemplifies our ability to balance heritage sensitivity with contemporary luxury. This recognition reinforces our commitment to excellence and innovation in project delivery.
Portfolio Programming for Strategic Outcomes
Our programming division has taken a major step forward in 2025 by managing entire portfolios of projects under unified master schedules. For clients such as GIICA, the Queensland Government, and HAFF, this approach provides a single source of truth across multiple workstreams, enabling better coordination, resource planning, and risk management. By integrating dependencies and milestones into one overarching programme, we’ve helped these organisations make informed decisions, optimise sequencing, and maintain delivery certainty across complex, multi-project environments. This capability is now a defining feature of RCP’s advisory services and a key driver of value for our clients.
As We Look Forward
In the year ahead, we’re bolstering alignment with RCP New Zealand and RCP Canada, laying a foundation for shared expertise that will continue to grow in 2026.
2025 has been a year of diversity. We’ve enjoyed a mix of project sectors and provided a suite of advisory services that reflect the breadth of our expertise. We are excited for new opportunities and remain committed to delivering strategic direction, stability, and confidence for our current clients.
Thank you to our clients, partners, and team for your trust and collaboration. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable outcomes, and we look forward to building on this momentum in 2026.
