Martin Dowl, Investment General Manager
QIC
2016

Following the successful completion of the $210m Robina Northern Malls and $90m Robina Town Centre Myer redevelopments, QIC further appointed RCP in July 2013 to perform project management and project programming services for the Robina Town Centre Market Hall extension. The Market Hall redevelopment involves the construction of approximately 14,200m² of GLA comprised of additional specialty retail outlets, a relocated Coles supermarket, new mall, an additional mini-major and specialty retail outlets, an additional car parking structure and alteration and expansion of the food market hall.

RCP was concurrently appointed by QIC in August 2015 to provide project management and project programming services for the Robina Town Centre Central Malls project. This redevelopment project involves the construction of a total of approximately 5,800m² of net lettable area, comprising additional specialty retail outlets, three additional single storey mini-major stores, two additional two storey mini-major stores together with required service infrastructure additions and relocations.

RCP has maintained a high level of quality and consistency of services across all projects. They thoroughly understand our expectations for the successful delivery of Robina Town Centre and continue to collaborate with the project team to meet development objectives and enable the projects to progress on schedule and within budget. RCP continuously seeks opportunities to achieve programme improvements and reduced cost outcomes, carefully managing contractors and seeking alternative solutions where possible.

I commend the RCP team for their service excellence and outstanding commitment to these projects. RCP’s leadership and experience have been critical to the overall success of the projects and has enabled Robina Town Centre to continue to thrive during the works.
