RCP were commissioned by Peabody Pacific for Project Management, Contract Administration, and Programming for the fit-out of approximately 900m2 office space, located at 300 Queen Street, Brisbane. RCP’s role included the procurement, administration, and management of a design team and head contractor from inception to Practical Completion ensuring Peabody Pacific were delivered a quality product, on time and under budget.
The key issues that required close attention and management by RCP were driven by constraints imposed by the client’s Landlord with respect to complying with the Landlord’s guidelines for contractor’s working in a tenanted and occupied property. This resulted in RCP maintaining close liaison and communication with the Landlord’s representatives through all stages of the construction works to ensure that the contractor was meeting the Landlord’s requirements at all times and maintaining its obligations with respect to quality assurance and workplace health and safety.
