RCP was engaged by developer Greaton Pty Ltd to provide project management services for a major Adelaide CBD residential development. Stage one of the project consisted of two residential towers comprising 272 apartments resting atop a five-storey podium. The podium levels comprise ground floor specialty retail, shared tenant areas including restaurants, swimming pools, cinemas and outdoor gardens, and four levels of residential car parking.
The project site is the former landmark Balfours factory site which has a complexity of restraints under the existing development contract and land management agreement. RCP initially produced a short-term DA program and comprehensive value management strategy which resulted in an on-budget DA submission within six weeks of engagement.
RCP was responsible for managing the consultant team, procuring the construction contractor and managing the construction phases of this four stage project, which is the largest residential development to be undertaken in South Australia. RCP successfully led the project team to deliver Stage 1 of the project within budget and timeframe expectations.
