The champagne is on ice ready to welcome guests to the newly refurbished and beautifully appointed InterContinental Sydney.
RCP Australia is incredibly proud to share the excitement of the opening of this major $120 million hotel redevelopment. RCP was appointed by Mulpha International to provide project management, superintendent, and specialist programming services for the project which included restoration work on the historic façade and the upgrade of 509 rooms over 32-storeys, including 28 suites plus the revitalisation of the concierge, reception, porte-cochere and all food, retail, beverage, and entertainment areas.
The project has been a fantastic success. The RCP team worked closely with architects Woods Bagot, head contractor Built. and the team at Mulpha International, to complete the works to the hotel which remained open to guests throughout the renovation.
The landmark hotel now brings a new level of luxury of visitors to Sydney.
The hotel transformation also includes the introduction of two bars – a new classic lobby bar on the ground floor and a spectacular rooftop bar located on the 32nd floor which features an outdoor terrace and uninterrupted views of the Sydney skyline… accessible for the first time to Sydney locals and public guests.
